Who are we?

Hello there! We're Seth and Eliz.

We met in 2008, and three years later promised to have and to hold, and adventure together. We love being outdoors, whether it's hiking, climbing, camping, backpacking, or just walking around the neighborhood.

When our Little O came along, we had every intention of continuing our outdoor-loving lifestyle. We want our child to know the simplicity and magic of the natural world. It hasn't always been easy, but it's always been worth it. Here you'll find our stories as we take our family on outdoor adventures big and small.

We've also taken an interest in DIY gear, especially since adding a little to the family. It's fun designing things exactly how we want them. It saves money, and the beauty about outdoor gear is that functional is more important than pretty. We'll be posting about those projects here as well.

Our family is based in Minneapolis. We're working on exploring the beautiful landscape that Minnesota offers, and we get out to the mountains any chance we get.
